I found out today that I am pregnant. I'm a few days late and have been taking tests for about 4 days. All came back negative. I woke up (still drunk from last nights Halloween party) and took the test and viola! Preggo! I didnt believe it. I shook the pregnancy test like it was a magic 8 ball expecting the answer in the window to change.
When we started trying to get pregnant, I bought a cute little book called "Things to know now that you are a dad." I ran down to the car this morning and grabbed the book. I put the pregnancy test inside and gave it to Nate. He was like "cute book." Then, when he opened it, he said "what's this? Are you serious?!?"
Im still in shock and havn't really accepted it yet. Im excited, i guess. I mean, we've been trying for several months. Now it is some real -ish, though. Things just got serious. Im excited though! Ready to start doing all of the things I am supposed to do- eating right, not smoking, not drinking, exercising more, taking care of myself.
Oh- and my guess is that it is a boy!
